Floating Fronds
This generative residential project embodies a fusion of organic architecture and biophilic design principles. The structure's fluid, curvilinear forms eschew traditional rectilinear constraints, embracing free-flowing curves and asymmetry. Rounded balconies, terraces and roof gardens cascade downward in a rhythmic composition, blurring the boundaries between built form and landscape. The verdant integration of foliage at multiple levels creates a symbiotic relationship between architecture and nature.
Conceptually, the residence appears to grow organically from its lush tropical setting, with the curving white elements cradling pockets of greenery. The sinuous lines and nested circular forms convey a sense of continuity and wholeness. Expansive glazing dissolves barriers between interior and exterior, inviting nature inward while framing panoramic vistas of the surrounding mountains and cityscape. Reflecting pools and curving pathways guide circulation through the grounds, echoing the building's flowing aesthetic.
The design reimagines domestic living as a holistic, multi-sensory experience deeply connected to the natural world. It represents a vision of biomorphic architecture revealing the beauty of organic forms while creating a nurturing, experiential environment for its inhabitants.
